I'm finally ready to start hrt. I was hoping to talk to my primary to make sure I can safely start T. I have high blood pressure and was born with a small hole in my heart.
I want to discuss with my primary whether or not I can safely start T. I'm scared because I'm in a small rural town and have no way of knowing what my doctor will say. I'm okay if he simply doesn't know and needs to refer me elsewhere, I'm just afraid he'll react badly or...I don't know.
Any advice? Also, if your on T and had high blood pressure previously, can you tell me how it's going? I'm hoping my medical issues won't prevent me from doing this now that I am ready. I wish I'd have done this before so I could just start hrt now. Lol. Oh well.
Here's to hopefully beginning my transition in the coming months!
