Non American having top surgery in America
Post Body

I live in Ireland, and like many many Europeans I have had plans to travel to the states for top surgery. I've been planning to go to Dr Raphael in Plano TX and my mother was on board with it until she started doing more research and freaking out a bit. That in terms of complications, should something go wrong I do not have health insurance in America (I have private health insurance in Ireland) so I would not be seen in any hospital, and I would be a minimum of 14 hours away from home at any time. I understand that it is very common for people to travel to the US for surgery, and the risk of something seriously going wrong is quite minimal, but does anyone know any other info about this/ could share some experiences to put her mind at ease?
