My voice has dropped a bit since starting T... enough for people to notice and comment on it, and people online to mistake me for cis. But I want it to be deeper (even just a bit) and am wondering if I should stop hoping for that to happen.
For context:
• I started T on March 17th, 2023.
• I was on low dose gel & Finasteride for the first 6 months, along with Norethrindrone (the "mini pill").
• Stopped Finasteride and raided my T gel dose to a full dose (about double what I'd been taking) for the next 6 months.
• I then did a blood test around 1yr on T and discovered my T was in the lower average range, and was given the choice to raise my dose if I wanted ~ after that I spent about 2 months on an even higher dose of T gel (about doubled it again).
• The last 2ish months have been on weekly injections at about the same dose, still taking Norethrindrone throughout.
Is there a chance my voice will still drop? 🥲 I think most of the dropping happened in the first 9 months which saddens me a bit. Hoping to hear some other experiences though!
