To preface this, I want to say that I'm about 5'7" tall. Before starting T, I was hovering around 145lbs, and now that I'm three months in, I've hit 170lbs. I know that there's water retention and the muscle gain, but goddamn, I definitely feel bigger. Normally I don't care too much, but it's making me nervous with how quickly I'm gaining. When does this balance out? My doc didn't seem too concerned when I brought it up at the last appointment. I'm definitely eating more, but I'm watching what I eat, due to my slightly elevated cholesterol, so I eat pretty healthy most of the time. I follow a Mediterranean diet, mostly. However, I'm also trying to be more active. My chronic fatigue has lifted a bit since being on T, so I'm trying to get into shape after a few years of being pretty sedentary. I'm hoping to god that this weight gain is just water retention and muscle gain, because it's discouraging as hell to be working so hard and just gaining fat. Anyone have any experience they could share that could ease my worries?
