I just started T and I'm so excited! I also have a really cool story about how I made a transmasc friend getting T-

So I had issues with my telehealth appointment to talk with a dr about starting T (on my end not theirs, they were great). Finally, my dr sends my script to the pharmacy. I drive home from work and see that they texted me that they were talking to my dr about prescribing me a different medication and I was like "great 🙄". I thought, "what if someone at the pharmacy is transphobic or something?" I figured that wasn't the case but part of me still thought it. I get to the pharmacy and sit in one of the chairs, hoping it'll magically change within a few minutes because I want it so bad. I knew it probably wouldn't but hey I wanted to try. Someone behind the counter asked if they could help me, so I explained the situation to him. I asked if I could pay out of pocket but it ended up being like $300 so uh I didn't do that lol. Anyway, right before I was about to leave he said, "hey congrats, I'm starting T tomorrow!" I was so shook and excited. We swapped names and pronouns and I left.

A week passes and because of insurance nonsense I still didnt have my script. It finally gets filled and I go to the pharmacy, basically the same time exactly 1 week later. I'm hoping he'll also be there and I can get his number to have another transmasc friend. Just as I'm getting my T gel from a pharmacist he walks up to me, turns out his shift just ended!!! We swapped numbers and now we're friends!!! Anyway I'm super happy and wanted to share. I'm also getting my name legally changed soon so also excited for that.
