Getting Tattoos when wanting top surgery

So, I currently plan in getting top surgery in the future. But, there’s some tattoos i want to get in my shoulder and chest area, and im worried about them getting deformed if i get them and have top surgery. does anyone know areas to avoid getting tattoos so that doesnt happen? or should i avoid tattoos in the chest area all-together until after top surgery?
