I have a ton of T vials with maybe .1 ml left in them. The obvious would be to probably not use them. But as I think about it more I canāt convince myself why I shouldnāt use them all to make a dose. It is being stored exactly the same, not a any certain temperature. And it is in the exact same vial that Iād normally draw from. In fact, if there was a little more liquid in it, Iād draw my whole dose from it! So logically thinking, why canāt I still use this? Seems to be just going to waste anyways.
Which leads me to something else I want to circle back too. Iāve asked on here before and the internet hard asses are always quick to check and correct. But my question was about the remaining liquid in the syringe after injecting. There seems to be about .05 ml left in the needle. Iām sure this is no big deal but to account for it, I drew a little extraā¦ I was told that before by a fellow genius redditor not to do this, that āmy Dr has accounted for this when prescribing.ā Some days I hate asking the internet anything. You get rushed by know it alls righteously correcting you instead of finding the help you seek.
Anyways, I guess my question is how? How are they āaccounting for itā when there are literal hash marks measuring the volume on the side of the syringe. Does this mean that she told me to take .3ml but she really WANTS me to take .25? I donāt get it. Is it some sort of Dr/ patient secret that really just gives the patient a placebo effect???? Lol ok, Iām kidding now. But seriously thoā¦
I only ask because my meds are 200mg. So whatever I donāt inject into me is basically doubled. My .3 injection is .6 so if I only get .25 in me, thatās only .5. I realize 1ml is not a lot , but still.
