My first injection was excruciating, is that normal?
Post Body

Yesterday I got my first injection (I've been on gel for months but it was a pain in the ass for me, figuratively, unlike this needle) and it was the most excruciating needle experience I've ever had. I had it done in my left cheek and i felt pain run down my left left and up my left hip, I thought the needle was still in me a couple mins after it had already been removed. It was like I had been forced to sit on a hot coal with my bare ass, and I begged for an ice pack to put on it while my hip/buttcheek was cramping.

Did my gp like... hit a nerve or something? Please tell me that's not what it's like every time.

** UPDATE: the pain went aeay after about 4 days, but it was incredibly itchy and never stoped for roughly 4-5 weeks after. Endo and gp confirmed that I am allergic to the cottonseed oil in the Reandron but I am okay!
