Hey guys, I'm a trans masc 31 year old feeling immense burnout. I'm in need of a short, inexpensive trip and I'm looking for queer fun wherever I go. I have a car and I have some airline miles, but I don't have my passport yet. I live in Minneapolis.

Mostly, I am trying to plan a trip around going to a gay bathhouse. I don't have phallo but I've had top surgery and a hysto and been on T since 2016. I'm a bit furry and fat and I've got a beard, so I tend to get very positive attention from gay men in Minneapolis. But I am looking for a quintessential bathhouse experience: sex, steam, relaxation.

I've looked into Steamworks Chicago and it seems solid, but have any of y'all had any experience there? Any other bathhouses you recommend? I can have a good time in basically any city, but my top priority is a bathhouse. Also a big fan of hookah lounges, but lots of cities have those and it's mostly just icing on the cake.

Where should a tired queer find a hot spa day?

Please reply if you've been to bathhouses around the country and can speak to the overall vibe of their trans scene. I know I can call a place but honestly I trust other trans guys to give me the realistic picture, not the marketing pitch, you know?
