So I'm at work, a little bit bored between jobs, so fire up the game through Humble Bundle. I have no progress on this version of the game, so I play casually on easy.

I get to sector 3 "Abandoned Sector" and on my way I pick up stun bombs and fire beams. I don't usually play with them, so I thought, "Why Not?"

I proceed to stun bomb the shields, then fire beam the ship, repeatedly, killing all crew, except one. A Lanius, who basically ran about putting out fires. Enough to get the weapons back online.

Luckily for me they surrendered as they get me to 1hp. I accepted, but it was too late, the artemis had already fired. It hit direct, and killed me after the surrender was made.

If that isn't an equal rights violation, I don't know what is.
