Since we are still pretty new, we do not have much of a content flow. I have noticed that with our downvote system, the newest posts that get just one downvote never see the light of day, meaning even when we have new content, most people don't see it anyway. I think it's necessary to temporarily take away downvotes until we have more traffic on this subreddit so it can be more self sustainable. I want to check in first with the community before making the change. Comment below and let us know whether you agree or disagree.

What do you guys think of beauty related gift exchanges? For example, if you would like to try a product to see if you like it and another redditor has enough to send you a sample without feeling much of a loss, you can do a product swap to test it out. We can build this idea better together and see what we come up with. I want the community to brainstorm on this. It could potentially be a great idea.
