Questions after first game of frostgrave 2.0

Post Body

Hey all - we had some questions after the first game.

Spell XP - I think the rules say you get XP per spell cast, but one person in our group thought it meant per each different spell cast, not per spell cast. Can anyone confirm this? I guess i could see the other interpretation as well. If it is per different spell cast, if i both pass and fail the same spell in a battle, go i get both xp?

Magic Cloak - one guy rolled a magic cloak, and was like sweet i'll give this to my wizards. But then the magic cloak is listed as "armor", which the wizard can't take. So then he was going to give it to a guy, but magic armor can only replace armor of the same type, and no one we saw has a cloak. There didn't seem to be any errata or FAQ as far as I can see. Are we right that RAW no one can use the magic cloak? We said we'll probably just allow it to be treated as a magic item only for the purposes of who could wear it, but are there common solutions to this? And while we are here, rings are on the magic armor table, but aren't directly called armor in the table like the cloak is. How do you deal with them? Basically, who can wear the cloak (and rings) and can they wear them with other armor or no?

Thanks for the help! We got 8 people, we played on two tables with 4 per table and plenty of terrain, using corners and 8 regular treasures with one central. it was the first game in a campaign, so we'll be sure to use this information in the weeks going forward.
