I recently upgraded from 500 to 1gbps service. It looks like the change took effect today but now I have ~900 mbps upload and 500 mbps download. Is this common? It's as if they upgraded my upload speed but not my download speed. 🤓

[Update: rebooting ONT was (of course) no use. I called and spoke with a tech who tried reconfiguring/resetting my ONT remotely which completely hosed the unit to the point where I had no internet, no dial tone, and no TV. Another tech was able to get it back to 50mbps internet, TV, no dial tone. They decided it was a bad ONT and scheduled a tech visit. Tech arrived a day and a half later and said the ONT was fine, but the neighborhood hub is oversubscribed and until they get that hub switched over to xpon (XGS-PON), I'm not going to be able to get 1gig. So I'm back to 500/500 for now.]
