Router went out and is getting replaced, bypassed router for eero, speed now 100mbps...
Post Body

So for context, at 12:08am (I was awake), in the high desert in California, our router just straight up gave up. We have both our internet and phone in the router (don't mind the home phone gone for now), after a lengthy tech support call, they told me they are replacing the router and it'll arrive in 3 days.

During that call, they had me plug in my laptop directly into the cable going into the router from the ONT, and it worked, so they figured it's the router.

So what I did, so I at least get internet, is plug the eero (that were initially plugged into the router), directly into that Ethernet cable. We have internet, but the eero states I get 188mbps download, 894 upload. I have a network switch connected into the 1gb port on that eero, which in turn goes to my work Mac and gaming PC. Using fast.com, it stated that my Mac mini had 11mbps download!

What gives?
