My partner just ordered Frontier fiber last week and they came out and plotted flags for trenching the line. My neighbor is being very nasty about the whole thing and trying to get us to cancel our plan before they trench the wire because she outright refuses to let them dig in her yard. I tried talking to our local frontier to see if I can get specifics on like their confidence that they can legally dig through her yard or if we are putting ourselves at risk with our neighbor legally. They told us we are the first to ask this kind of question, and when I called technical support they were closed. I am a little anxious about the whole thing, and just want some answers: if Frontier marks an area and proceeds, is it out of them knowing they can in fact trench across her yard to bring the line to us? Don’t know if state law matters in this for specifics - based in CT.
lol, tell her you don't like her power/water/gas etc running through your yard either, but you can't change it.
Its supposed to be 6 inches, but ends up only being 2, and every year people find that out when they aerate.

She'd get in trouble, one for digging without calling 811, and 2 malicious destruction of communication facilities.
