Hi! I was wondering if anyone in a new fiber neighborhood has any experience with how quickly the service is available for installation after being run.
I'm antsy to get away from an abysmal 200 down/15 up cable connection from Comcast that I'm paying more for than a 2gb/2gb line will cost me from Frontier.
As far as I know, the fiber is active, and all I need is for someone to run it to my house and install the port near my router. Should I be able to call and get something set up, or will it take a few weeks for everything to update in their system?
