Over the last year I’ve played and fell in love with these three games.elden ring and sekiro in particular are probably my 2 favorite games of all time.In fact Elden ring definitely is my favorite game of all time, and even though I’ve only pretty recently beat sekiro and still got a good bit of work for that plat,it’s undoubtedly a one of a kind masterpiece.i still think bloodborne is a great game tho, just not quite on the same level as the other 2(still gotta get through the chalice dungeons for that plat).so once I wrap up these platinums(plus shadow of the erdtree)
I definitely wanna dive in to the og series, and was looking for some input on which order I should tackle them.ive seen a lot of sentiment recommending to play the trilogy chronologically, but tbh I’m definitely leaning towards starting with ds3.mainly because of its widely loved boss lineup, which is by far my favorite part of this series.also due to the fact that it seems like it will be much more similar to what I’m used to compared to the first 3 games which I know are much slower paced and less boss oriented.
that being said,I have seen and watched a lot on ds1,and am definitely very intrigued by it.it seems to have a great amtosphere and a level/enemy design that fits its slow mechanics really well, and I’ve considered playing it next.
im definitely probably gonna play 2 last,Ill try my best to give it a fair chance and not just listen to all its haters, but I’ve seen a lot of it and it definitely seems to have a lot of problems.some of the enemy placement in particular seems next level frustrating/bullshit.also worth noting that I’m going into to all these games with the goal of 100 percent completing them(I’ll have to traverse the frigid outskirts)
