Need some frog info
Post Body

Hello! Sorry if this is dumb, I don’t know much about frogs and I figured someone here might be able to help ease my mind. I came home late tonight and opened the door of my room to find a small frog leaping off my bed and onto the ground. It hopped around for a while before I caught it and took it outside. Now, this would not be a problem at all for me except I am OCD and a hyper-germaphobe. I have no idea where this frog came from/where it’s been, and I have no idea how long it’s been here but I know it’s had contact with a lot of my stuff and a lot of my space, including where I sleep. Again, sorry if this is just paranoia but is there a chance this frog was carrying any dangerous bacteria or disease of any kind? Is it safe to carry on as if nothing happened or should I start deep cleaning and/or getting rid of items?

(Also, this is much more of a reach but do you have any idea where this guy could’ve come from if I live in a suburban area where I’ve never seen an animal like that before, and the door and window of my room have, to my knowledge, been shut all day? Also also, should I be on the lookout for more of these fellas around my house?)
