Every time I open up the 5k gallon water storage tank down in my garden I see little tree frogs hanging out in there, usually clinging onto the pipes or hanging out near the lid. They scatter when I invade their space but should I be rescuing them and moving them somewhere else? It’s not drinking water in the tank so I am not that worried about them polluting the water, but I dont want them to starve in there or get stuck in the pipes and die a miserable death and clog everything up. Or, is there likely a litte ecosystem in that big tank and they’ll live in there relatively safe and happy? Assuming I could even catch one, are they better off there or better off in my pond, fighting for territory vs. the invasive bull frogs we have down there? Thanks for your thoughts!
