Sorry for the vague title, I'm really after some advice on my basic setup and potentially upgrading my line speed. I currently have 300mpbs down and 50 up, but I'm looking to upgrade to 500 or maybe even a 1Gpbs as the price isn't that much more. My ISP provided me with a 7530 Modem Router which is downstairs in a utility cupboard. To get signal to the attic I have a Fritz 3000 repeater for Wifi which sits on the middle floor and I basically get the full 300mpbs.

If I upgrade will these be fine still, or should I look at changing the modem/router or other 3rd party options like TP-Link? I'd love wired throughout but it would be a lot of holes in walls and flooring up so Wifi dependent for now.
