So a woman I USED to be friends with started seeing a guy who her best friend and I suspected was using her. Because for several months he was telling her he loved her (knowing she wanted to be with him) and he wouldn't be her boyfriend. So a year ago her, her best friend and I were all drinking. Her boyfriend (at the time he was her FWB honestly) was at a baseball game sending her Snapchats as he also was drinking. He started making comments about how pretty her and I were and that he wanted a "threesome". At the time I admit I liked the attention and I flirted a bit back. It was wrong and I did apologize to her once I sobered up. I felt really bad and she acted like forgave me. The guy sent me a message on Snapchat saying he was just kidding with what he had said, but I don't believe this. To this day I still think she can do better than him.
Anyway, fast forward a few months later. She was drinking and tried to argue with me about a relationship I was in at the time. She was making rude comments so I made a comment about her boyfriend hitting on me. She flipped out. Called me nasty names and said he didn't hit on me. Her best friend sided with her and said it "didn't count cause he was drunk". So he gets a free pass, but I don't? At least I apologized. I don't blame her for being upset about it, but don't blame it all on me. She said she was prettier than me because she was "thin and beautiful" and that her boyfriend thought I was ugly.Â
Like I said, I understand she was probably hurt but I apologized and tried to make up for it. I haven't talked to her boyfriend since he denied what he had said. Ever since that happened it seemed her and her best friend were distancing themselves from me, which I completely understand. But it doesn't give them the right to be mean to me.
