Why is it so difficult to make new friends in a new city or state when you move by yourself to a new place on your own as a 29 year old black male ?

I been in this city for two years now coming from the Midwest to Texas and i only made two acquaintances and to use that term lightly they go mia or ghost when they get into relationships when i always make female friends.

How should I go about making friends in the new year ? I want to relocate to a new city this summer due to the failed friendships I had and the horrible dating experiences I have came across here for the past two years.

Why is it so difficult to make good friends to do stuff with and have a social life? It would definitely helped if I had that to compensate being chronically alone a lot and not having a female companion to spend time with. All I do is work and play my games watch anime sports and sometimes go out but that’s it. I need a change.
