Hey fellow Redditors. I’ll try and keep this short,for now you may call me Grey. I’d prefer to keep my real name anonymous until we are Familiar with each other. I’m just a dude who is about to turn 35 in 24 hours and looking to make some serious changes in my life, one of which is making new long-term friends around my age early to late 30s and 40s.

Now comes the important part, I’d prefer women as I feel they make better friends but I’m open to having a Platonic bromance with another dude. Realistically I’m hoping to find fellow geeks, dweebs, nerds and dorks who like myself are single, never married and not tied down with kids. My life pretty much revolves around work so someone who wants to hangout one on one,have adventures Both big and small, make core memories. Talk daily or semi daily about anything and nothing ask personal questions and look beyond the surface level stuff would be very refreshing.

I’m fully aware that life can get chaotic at times and you probably have a life outside Reddit. That is totally fine as I’m not expecting instant replies from you every waking moment. But at least be consistent, take this seriously and make an active effort to include me in your life and I’ll happily do the same.

I live on the east coast United States in the state of Virginia, just about 29 minutes outside of Harrisonburg so you’d have to either live close or be willing to travel once in a while.

Obviously we can do Voice and Video chatting as well as exchange pictures so long as it doesn’t feel forced. I understand you may “just want to know whom you’re talking to” but if it’s not going to happen Organically then I’m not doing it.

So to those who actually took the time to read this, don’t be afraid to reach out and tell me about yourself. Your hobbies, pet peeves things you value in a friendship, deal breakers and may be pros and cons of being friends with you. Well, I will be given priority. And I promise to return the same level of enthusiasm and energy that you put into your responses.
