If you have a hot tub, what were your added electricity costs for running your hot tub? Please include your brand.
Post Body

I'm currently shopping for a hot tub, and I'm thinking of going with a Sundance Edison. Some people say the electricity costs are generally between $30-100 a month for the typical hot tub. I read somewhere on Reddit that someone in California had costs of about $300 to run their different brand hot tub. My aunt in Southern CA said it costed her about $300 to heat it twice (she kept it off in between which is not recommended) and idk what brand she had. But then I'm looking at a sticker that tells me the Sundance Edison is supposed to use 195W on standby. A little math tells me that the standby cost may be about $70 per month based on that figure. What were your costs? I'm not too concerned about Sundance in particular, I'm more concerned about hot tubs in general.
