Like think about it for 5 seconds. Stop muddling the argument up with nothing responses about it not being provable? You can't 100% disprove the existence of something that nobody has ever seen or can physically measure?? (aka something that doesn't exist) Why do you think conspiracy theorists hold onto their ideology?
Free will literally breaks the known laws of physics. It breaks physical causality.
Even with quantum mechanics, the wave function collapse still determines your choice.
Even if the universe is indeterminist and causality is just wrong, random chance still determines your will.
Even if there were no laws of physics the concept just doesn't even make sense. If we have a soul, then god chooses our will.
If god somehow creates the soul as a blank canvas then by choosing where we are born and to whom it still entirely restricts our will. By placing you there he enables your choices, good or bad.
In order for free will to exist you require a being to be entirely untethered to anything else, unaffected, aloof and alone, yet can somehow learn and choose things. Something that is impossible in a relative universe such as ours.
We made free will up, because we didn't understand the world around us a long time ago, it's a fairy tale. Stop holding onto it.
This bothers me so much to see people holding on to such a restrictive concept. The idea of free will is hurting humanity, the larger culture war that this ridiculousness is a part of is such a huge waste of collective effort.
