oh, thats cormac mcarthy right? i havent read that one yet, ill give it a try. but yeah in ficition it tends to show up as fate and destiny. Oedipus and such..

Yeah I'm not a fan of time travel stories, they are almost inevitably littered with plot holes. Some are ok though.
