Hey Brethren.

How many times have you seen a brother doing a charge or other work lose his spot and look to the DC for a prompt only to have 5 prompts given from all around the lodge. Which ends up getting jumbled up and often sounds like "mmmmpphhmm" half the time only for the poor distressed brother to have to get promoted again.

I know the brethren are trying to help and everyone knows they know the work. But it would be easier to just allow the DC to do his role and direct!

Anyway what got me on to this is tonight i was in an install and just before we closed the WM said words to the effect of during my time unless you have been asked by a brother doing work please refrain from giving prompts or corrections during the lodge. I kinda like that. I'm also interested in others thoughts on this and maybe some other ways you have seen this issue tackled
