Anyone Else Get Frustrated at Nerfing Your Own Deck Just So it Can See Play?
Post Body

I used to run Nadu as my commander, cuz it wins games. However, So many people complained about it or simply wouldn't play against it that I ended up scrapping it. I made a Thrasios Kodama deck that does essencially the same thing just not as well. I hate the idea of having to lower my deck just so it can see some play. Haven't lost once with Nadu (yet) but this is just disappointing.

Anyone else feel this way or am I just a degenerate for playing the best bird wizard ever?

Edit: Thanks for all your thoughts (constructive or otherwise). It seems this format has become more binary than I realized. You're either casual or competitive. I think I'll defer to r/DegenerateEDH in the future. They seem to have a better understanding of that niche middle ground.
