I have been playing tcgs for 10 years and mtg is my second most played game next to yu gi oh. From my personal experience mtg has more autism in it compared to any other tcg community I played. It really doesn't make alot of sense because in a tcg or any other table top game really it is crucial to learn how to properly communicate with your opponent (s) in order to get better as a player. although the reality is that mtg's player base is big enough where it attracts all types of people, I really feel like sometimes it doesn't. sometimes when I play commander with randoms at locals, peoples autism are so bad where they can't live by there own without assisted living. This is coming from someone who is on the bubble of being autistic and is really interverted. Coming from a yu gi oh perspective going into this game I feel like mtg and yu gi oh are not only completely opposite games but attract completly opposite people. Alot of yu gi oh players aren't the most emotionally intellegent people but are a lot less socially inept compared to other communities while mtg is the other way around. Just wondering if i'm alone or not.
