Does anyone notice this about mtg compared to other card games growth.
Post Body

Now I am not going to say mtg is "dying" becuase that is a stupid thing to say for an IP that is practically eternal at this point, however I do think it's growth isn't as fast compared to the other games. This could just be my region but my region used to be a very magic heavy region until covid came around. Now Yu Gi Oh and Pokemon are the dominating games here. I remember having a dude I know that thought about opening a card shop and he said the only thing he wanted to with mtg is just a commander night and not sell mtg singles because it's not as profitable as the other two card games in the big three games.

I have also been hearing that shops that do mtg that do mtg as there main game don't too well unless they have the other card games as well. Also a recent shop has opened here but it was just purely pokemon and yu gi oh. Anyone from other regions can you tell me if this shit is happening where mtg based lgs's aren't doing as well compared to lgs's that have the japanese games? Also one thing does commander actually get players new players attracted to mtg since it's the main marketing tool of the game now? thanks.
