I really question back in 2010 when the final revision of the RL was made. Why didn't the duals came off as well along side with demonic tutor and sol ring? I think if they did that and kept everything the same then the game would be much better and would have solved many issues. It wouldn't have gatekept people from trying legacy and allowed more people to play commander at a higher level too. I can't tell you how many people I have met that said "Man I want to play some Legacy but I am not paying that much for duals." I own a few myself and paid a bit of money for them but it's mostly because I like it, however I still think it's something that shouldn't be on there because it's a staple card in legacy and commander. Either than that I think the RL is ok. To be fair they probably would cost a little bit more than a mana crypt if they did had multiple printings in master sets with the way WOTC prints cards but it's better than locking them forever on a RL. Does anyone else feel the same or am I just crazy?
