I just ran into a slight issue with a new client and I was wondering if anyone else has had the same issue? I'm breaking into website content as a freelancer and hope to eventually start my own business. I'm working with someone that does have their own content marketing business and has contracted with me to write website content and a few blog posts. The pay is pretty low compared to what I make writing articles, but I figured it'd be a nice gig to gain insight into this realm and examples for my portfolio. We agreed to roughly $15 a web page (300-500 words) and then emails me this morning saying they need three pages done by mid-afternoon. Is this a low rate for that tight of turnaround? Is that an industry norm for freelancers in this area?
