(Background about myself) I never went to college and I didnāt do well in high school. As a youth I was diagnosed with a condition that mimics ADHD and Mild Narcolepsy. My focusing skills were poor if not non existent. Now Iām an adult factory worker and I never realized that Iāve been reading and writing in most of my free time without realizing it.
My reading/writing skills are above average I would say.(I scored very high on that portion of the SAT). Obviously I definitely need to get better. However, the skill I never realized I had was my ability to hyper fixate on a topic and read about it all day long. On days off Iāll often wake up and read an article on my phone and itāll lead me on a trail of interest and before I know it the sun has set and I never got out of bed. I have a lot of knowledge about a lot of topics, a āwalking encyclopediaā as my friends often call me. In the group chat I am the biggest talker there for if someone briefly mentions a topic i am interested in Iāll promptly respond with a detailed paragraph. Often Iāll write very long responses to things only to delete them to not annoy my friends. Grammar and structure Iāll definitely need to work on but my saving grace is my attention to detail and research hyper fixation/analyzation skills.
Do you guys think I have any potential? Where do I start?
