I want to specialize in a niche but probably have no prior knowledge

What should I do?
I was thinking of going into legal, tech, or copywriting because these are some of the most profitable niches afaik, but I don't know much about them. Since I'm just starting out as a writer I will probably need to research for writing anything, but I'd like to ask for advice from the more experienced and established freelance writers.
