Hey guys, I posted about my experience tripping the AI detectors on Scripted. I thought I'd update in case anyone else goes through this in the future and wants to know how to handle it.
After I made my post here, I did a lot of reading in the resource center and discovered that Scripted has a zero-tolerance AI policy. The first time they detect that you're using AI, you lose your account for good. Fuck.
I ended up sending my original draft Google Docs to Scripted support and asking them to check the revision history for documentation of my work process. Then I pulled reports on Originality.ai for both deliverables that failed AI detection. I hate using AI detection to fight AI detection, but the report visualizes the writing process over time and I thought that would be a useful way to support my case.
No one ever emailed me back, but after I sent the Google Docs and Originality reports, one of the two failed deliverables quietly moved from AI Fail to Administrative Review, then within the day it moved to With Editor (and so did the other deliverable).
They sent me a bunch more work after that happened, so I'm going to assume that everything is okay now.
