I just started freelancing (sole proprietor) on an ongoing basis for a marketing agency. I have one client.
Iām trying to figure out how to invoice them monthly without paying unnecessary fees. I do not know if they prefer to pay via ACH (I assume so since they are a legit agency) or credit card but Iām wondering if I need to even bother with a service like Wave, Quickbooks, or PayPal since they all charge fees. Can I just share my routing and acct number on an invoice of my own design and have them pay via an ACH direct transfer?
