Episode 5 really had me jumping in my seat when I foresaw Laenor and Rhaenyra's "agreement" as a relationship where they are best friends, Laenor has a gay love story, Rhaenyra's an ally, and Sir Criston remains her secret lover. I know the show followed the fate of the books, but a queer can only hope!
