My New Fan Theory: Writers have a plan and it's brilliant

Do a rush job where the plot makes no sense, random enemies become super strong for no reason, friends become enemies for silly reasons, and lots of characters have arbitrary and unsatisfying conclusions. Why? Because the writers like us, love the books, and want to finish reading them.
A piss-poor ending could piss GRRM off and motivate him to actually finish The Winds of Winter and A Dream of Spring in his lifetime as he'll know he can't trust others to do it.
