Now, I haven't read the script and I know i'm in the land of forever spoilers but I thought this was as good a place as any to share my theory on how the finale will end.

The final episode opens with Gilly in the privy reading the book from earlier in the season that was filled with so much useful information. Sam jr interrupts her peaceful toilet time causing her to rush her exit and in her haste she forgets the book in the privy.

Cut to later in the episode, Jon and Dany have both spent time bending the knee and afterwards Jon needs to clean up so he heads off to the privy... yup, the very same privy from earlier in the episode. He looks over, sees a book and picks it up beginning to read... cut to look of realization on Hanks Jon's face as the screen goes black.
