Just finishing up my P2 and I'm in the market for a new wing. What got me interested in the sport--and what still interests me the most--is hike and glide, but cross country sounds pretty fun, even paramotoring, so used would be nice until I figure out what I'm really going to do the most.
With the help of a much more experienced friend, I found a used low B wing that looks like a good fit and I just wanted a second (and third and however many will chime in) opinion.
1) low B is ok for a beginner, yeah? My instructor just recommends As for all beginners, but I'm seeing enough people who suggest low B's (one even saying they think they're safer?) that I think I'm over this concern. Still, open to hearing opinions.
2) it's a ML size, with a weight rating of 85-105 kg. I'm 6'4, 225-230 (100-104kg) and in pretty good shape, but it would probably still be good to lose 10-15 lbs, and this would give me a good motivator. That's going to take a couple of months though and I want to be flying sooner than that. Am I ok flying this?
Anyone else have a good used option they're looking to sell? :)
