Hello, I just started learning paragliding and had a hard landing on the knee a few weeks back, it’s still hurting so I haven’t been able to proceed to the next lesson yet. To avoid this next time, I’d like to get some knee pads (and elbow pads too maybe).
Are the mountain-biking knee pads that look like sleeves generally better suited for this than the kind of knee pads that use straps? I’m still a beginner and lightweight so I have to do quite some running to catch the wind.
I didn’t see anyone in my class wearing it, but I might just be clumsier 😅 I’d rather look like a dork and not be in pain than otherwise :)
Would appreciate advice and recommendations. Thank you in advance!
