I live in a south pacific island and I want to gear up to start practicing freediving and spearfishing.(I've been snorkeling a lot but I want to go deeper and hold longer.)
I want good gear but as I'm only starting I don't need the best (and I don't want to spend too much either).
So I wondered if you guys could help me figure out what to buy. As far as I know I'd need:
- carbon fins (I'm willing to put the extra money, as I live in south pacific I'm gonna use them A LOT)
- speargun
- mask & snorkel (someone told me there were smaller masks for freediving)
- knife
- torch
(I already have a belt)
Please tell me if I'm forgetting something and I have no idea of brands or references so enlighten me :)
