FreeBSD 10.3 on Virtual Box: Can't get pkg to work
Post Body

Hi,

I'm trying to install a specific package on FreeBSD 10.3 i386 which I have running on a Virtual Machine image. Problem is, I can't get pkg to work. If I try any pkg command or pkg, it gives me illegal command (core dumped). I looked in /etc/ and there's a folder in there for pkg, so it must be installed, but I don't know why its not working, not being very good with linux/unix/whatever doesn't help. Do I need to initialize it or add it to my path or something?

in case it matters, the package is bsdgames. It is dumb but that old sail game has probably one of the better Iron Men and Wooden Ships adaptations there's been.

Edit: I got FreeBSD9.3 working and got the package. Unfortunately sail does not work. On to trying to see if I can find a dragonfly with the original on there, and then trying the ubuntu package.
