Mouse scroll-up = page back

Good morning fellas,

I am currently running FreeBSD 13.1-Release,p6 and my DE is KDE 5.24.7 in a VM (VirtualBox 7)

When I use my mouse and scroll up like during web-browsing or in KDE settings, it triggers a page back event. So, for example I visit the website of duckduckgo.com and once I scroll-up I return to my blank screen.

I do have moused enabled in etc/rc.conf.

So something is clearly wrong with my mouse input device within X11. Interestingly, the folder etc/X11 is empty ...

Disclaimer: I am a Linux guy working my way through the book Michael W. Lucas Absolute FreeBSD 3. Edition. So, there are things I might not know which might be obvious to you.
