given how bad 270 continues to get I am curious how many people moved up to Frederick during the pandemic but are now being called back to the office? I know a lot of federal agencies have started calling back their employees which I’m sure is adding to it, but it used to be where Summers were at least a little bit better, but that is not even the case anymore. It still takes an hour to get to Rockville at 8 AM. I’m curious if the federal government continues to call people back if people will move out of Frederick to avoid the shitty commute since their remote work has been taken away.
Edit: This is not my situation but one i’ve seen with people i’ve become friends with who’ve moved up here from moco and dc. several had had remote agreements taken away.
You moved to Frederick because you were working from home due to the pandemic? Did you think the teleworking would continue?
I'm just confused why you would move?
270 isn't going to change. Frederick county isn't going to spend funds on people leaving the county.
