Got a fine €60 for not having a train ticket

Hello all,
Took the train to get to a shopping center and we paid for the exact route. However, my girl discarded hers as soon as we left the gate. I kept my ticket and the cop stopped us and said since she doesn’t have hers, it’s a €60 euro fine. We explained we paid but she discarded it. They wouldn’t budge and I ultimately paid for the fine with my Amex card. Thinking about doing a chargeback but don’t know if it’s risky on my end.
