Some questions on the upgradability as well as a matte screen protector

I am new to this community and the framework idea sounds appealing to me. These questions might have been asked before so I apologize for the repeat.

First question:

When in the future when framework update the spec to say 12th gen intel or amd, will the new motherboard fit in the current framework laptop?

Second question:

I cannot stand a glossy screen so I will definitely need to find a matte screen protector and after researching a bit I saw some warning post about it. One suggestion I saw is buying a 15in matte screen protector and DIY, but I am curious if the screen protector that is meant for the surface laptop will work here. They are both 13ish in laptop with 3:2 aspect ratio.
