The first time I sprayed this fragrance, my first thout was fascinating! It opens with cacao, rum, cognac, vanilla and mint. There are many other notes, but those immediately take over.
Initially the mint is very strong, especially if you stay in one place without any kind of moving air. Sitting at my dining room table I got mint, a hint of the cacao, vanilla and booze. The mint reminds me of vanilla mint Tic-tacs. They aren't unpleasant, but I needed more. I was honestly disappointed at first.
It wasn't until I went outside and a soft breeze blew away the mint that the other notes attacked in the best way possible. The blend of cacao and booze is so lovely. The vanilla makes me think of a mother duck leading her ducklings to water.
When I got into my car, the mint returned with avengence. The other notes are nearly completely blocked. I like the scent, however I would love to experience more than just mint.
This has so many notes, however the mint is the Dread Overlord of this fragrance. Rebellions are kept in check.
1 spray each arm, 3 sprays on my shirt
On skin it lasts maybe 3 hours. It's mint boozy loveliness, vanilla, then it starts disappearing within 30 minutes on my skin.
On clothing it's been over 8 hours and it is just as strong. I will edit when I go home in 5 hours if anything changes.
This leans more male in my opinion.
I enjoy this, and will wear it again, however it goes without saying, this is not an office scent. This is not blind buy safe. If you can get a sample it is definitely worth the experience.
Edit: The mint calmed down a few hours after this post went up. It has become booze, vanilla, woody, and mellow. It is really nice. It is still strong enough to smell from my shirt and it's been around 11 hours.
