Mark Buxton Devil In Disguise Review

Warning ⚠️ if you do not like rhubarb or ginger, do not even look in the direction of this fragrance.

The rhubarb, and ginger scream for attention the entire life of Devil. There is no subtlty initially. My initial thought was this is so tart. The kind of tart that makes you pucker your mouth, but you go back for another taste.

When I first tried Devil in Disguise, I was confused and a little put off. It took a couple tries to fully appreciate it. This absolutely needs skin. On clothing it is GINGER AND RHUBARB and a barely noticeable floral scent. On skin the ginger and rhubarb soften and a beautiful floral comes through. The floral feels like how you would add salt to a dish. It stays TART throughout it's life span. The ginger is such a fun note it has a spicy ginger quality. The vetiver is a much needed, and appreciated.

I personally do not get very much musk, or patchouli.

In my opinion this is not an everyday wear. This is an I need a reminder of the sun on a dreary day. It is lovely, but may be too much in large quantities.

I wear my fragrance very light, because I work in the medical field, so I typically wear 4 sprays. I cannot really speak of sillage because I'm not trying to be noticed.

Longevity, on my skin , 3-4 hours. On my shirt around 6-7 hours.

This is totally unisex.

If you like tart, and bright I strongly recommend. This is not a safe blind buy, but I did anyway.
