I know this is isn’t a soap sub, but can we talk about dr squatch for a sec? I think anyone would agree that their advertisement department has hit a few home runs…but that is literally ALL they got going for them, imho.

I personally prefer bar soap to body wash because it lasts longer, therefore I end up spending less money. I also tend to get a much better lather than with a body wash. Now, the lather from dr. Squatch isn’t bad, but it isn’t great either.

As for lasting longer than body wash, a 7$ bar of DS lasts about the same as a large bottle of body wash.

The scent: finally I hit on a topic that might be appropriate. DS isn’t bad, they got some good scents, but not very powerful.

I’m sure I missed something else I wanted to bring up, but in conclusion I think DS just isn’t worth it. However, I do have a great alternative: San Francisco soap company. Brand new or bought directly from their site it’s roughly 10$ per bar. The bars are huge (10oz), they last for months (literally between 2-3 months per bar). The scents they have are divine and potent. And the lather you get from these soaps, they are perfect. Anyways…just thought I’d share my thoughts because everytime I see DS I think to myself “if people only knew how empirically inferior that soap was….”
